SOTOGRANDE HOTELS

ALMENARA HOTEL

Sotogrande needed a first class resort hotel and Almenara does not disappoint. Located high within the Sotogrande estate, the views are superb. Sat on the terrace you look down over the 18 hole golf course winding its way through cork trees towards the sea. The impressive pool area awaits those seeking to escape the heat and the Elysium Health Club is an alluring option at any time.

ACCOMMODATION rooms at the Almenara Hotel are in individual villas, some with an adjoining sitting room (junior suite) and some that can become a two bedroom suite with a shared living room (suite).

ROOMS are decorated in traditional Andalucian colours and have their own terrace or balcony providing views of the gardens, golf course or the Mediterranean (subject to availability). Features include air conditioning and heating, satellite/cable TV, Internet access (approx. £2 for 30 minutes), hairdryer, mini bar and telephone.

HOTEL FACILITIES

Golf championship standard 27 hole course, illuminated practice range with 90 tees, 2 swing analysis studios, 3 practice holes. Hotel residents also receive discounted rates at other courses in the area.
Restaurants and Bars Gaia, the main restaurant, for Mediterranean and Cantabrian cuisine, VeinTeeOcho is a casual cafe for golfers and guests alike (one of our favourite places for lunch, sat out on the terrace with a cold beer enjoying the views), Pentagrama piano bar with cocktail menu.
Outdoor Swimming Pool including separate children's pool and poolside bar.
Elysium Health Club with heated indoor pool with hydromassage beds in it, jacuzzis, Finnish sauna, Turkish baths, gym, group classes including yoga, pilates and belly dancing, massage and beauty treatments. Please note children under 16 years are not allowed in the spa area.
Children's Playground and children's organised activities in July and August.
Beach Club complimentary use of El Cucurucho Beach Club, with its swimming pools, tennis and paddle courts, children's organised activities. Free shuttle bus to the beach club.

SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES - Sotogrande is famous for its golf courses, the polo fields are becoming increasingly well known, horse riding for all standards and plenty of watersports including sailing and windsurfing. Lessons are available in the summer months at the sailing club next to El Octogono Beach Club.

nH SOTOGRANDE HOTEL

Located between Valderrama Golf Course and La Reserva Golf Course, close to the sports complex and shopping centre, the 4* nH Sotogrande is approximately 5 km from the beach and marina and 4 km from its sister hotel the Almenara shown above. The hotel has 106 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and a shuttle service to Almenara Golf Course, the Beach Club and riding centre.

ACCOMMODATION at the nH Hotel Sotogrande comprises 102 twin/double bedded rooms, 2 junior suites and a 2 bedroom suite with some rooms adapted for disabled. Connecting rooms are also available.

ROOMS have ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, private terrace, golf course view, individually controlled air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, radio, telephone, wireless internet connection and safe. Suites have a separate living room.

HOTEL FACILITIES include La Bodega Restaurant offering regional, traditional and homemade cuisine, coffee bar and a terrace cocktail bar, outdoor swimming pool and gardens, TV room, games room, children's Miniclub indoor activities (looked after by professionals during Easter and high season), paddle tennis courts, free shuttle bus service to Almenara Golf Course and El Cucurucho Beach Club.

HOTEL CLUB MARITIMO

4* member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, with views to Gibraltar and North Africa. The sotogrande marina hotel has bars and restaurants just outside its door, making it a perfect base if you intend to be out and about during the day and not have to drive when you go out in the evening. It doesn't have a pool or other facilities so if you're looking for a resort style hotel then go for one of the others

ACCOMMODATION 45 rooms at the Hotel Club Maritimo comprising 33 double/twin standard rooms, 8 suites (separate living area) and 4 penthouse with sitting room.

ROOMS have bath, wc, bidet, power-shower, hairdryer, TV, satellite and in-house video, radio, telephone, fax/internet point, electronic room safe, mini bar, air conditioning and heating and a marina/sea view.

HOTEL FACILITIES El Maritimo Restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine, Cafeteria for buffet breakfast and cocktails and Terraces with panoramic sea views for tapas, paninis and salads.
