Sotogrande Equestrian Centre is one of the most well-known horse riding schools in Spain and has taught many professionals over the years. The centre is located in the Old Cortijo Valderrama next to the Hotel nH Sotogrande offering facilities and activities for the whole family. Their ponies and horses are looked after by the best experts. There are two equestrian schools with pony and horse riding lessons, horse-jumping and dressage lessons, guided horseback excursions, social and national competitions. There is a also a shop and a bar-restaurant.
The San Roque Club in the town of San Roque also has superb facilities for the keen rider offering countryside riding treks in the local natural park of Tesorillo, San Enrique and Jimena.
