A Jack Nicklaus design which is testing yet playable for all handicap levels. The venue for the prestigious Volvo Masters for a number of years, Montecastillo is of the highest quality. Take in the view from the 18th tee before driving off a cliff to the fairway below and the hotel to the right.

LA DUQUESA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, MANILVA

La Duquesa par 72 Robert Trent Jones designed course provides an excellent challenge for both high and low handicappers alike. You will love the variety this course has to offer, starting, unusually, with the long par 5, all uphill, first hole, to the feature hole, the 110 yard par 3 eighth, from an elevated tee 120 yards above the green. The front 9 holes can be tricky, but the back 9 can be even trickier especially on a windy day. A good stance and extra concentration is required on some holes as the ball is often above or below your feet and a buggy is recommended as there can be a fair walk between some tees.

FINCA CORTESIN GOLF RESORT, CASARES

Located halfway between Marbella and Sotogrande, 1.5 km. from the beach, the 18 hole course designed by Cabell Robinson offers views over the Mediterranean and African coastline. The length of the course is nearly 7 km making it one of the largest courses in Europe, with a total par rising up to 72. Players can enjoy themselves whilst learning at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy.

Please note maintenance work will be carried out during weeks 19-25 May and 15-21 September 2008. There will be 9 holes open with a special price of £42 if you wish to play 9 holes twice.
